Your largest organ is your skin, it protects you and helps your body to detoxify itself. In Chinese medicine it is a mirror to your inner wellness. Keep your skin looking and feeling its best by finding what suits your specific needs with the professional help of an esthetician.
What is an Esthetician?
An esthetician is a skincare specialist who has gone through a professional training program and can advise and help you in the non-medical care of your skin. They continue their education to keep up on the latest advancements in skincare and what new procedures and products are beneficial to an individual’s needs.
What does an Esthetician do?
They provide facials, peels, waxing, tinting of eyelashes and brows, consultations of your skin care regimens, body wraps and some other non-medical skin care related services.
Services
- Facials – Includes skin analysis, cleansing, exfoliation, extractions if necessary, a relaxing European massage, and a mask according to needs. This helps to unclog environmental debris from the skin, moisturize the skin for a healthy glow, helps to move the lymphatic system and is a great stress reliever.
*European massage includes the face, neck, décolleté and shoulders. - Peels – Enzyme or chemical peels are used to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, improve the texture of the skin, even out skin discoloration, reduce redness, or clear acne and blemished skin. There are a variety of types of peels for different conditions and sensitivities. The esthetician will determine what is best for your needs and your expected results.
- Wraps – Used to help detoxify the body and can help with targeted areas like cellulite. (This is a service that we will be adding in the near future.)
